Set up Plymouth on Raspberry Pi Ubuntu:

Edit this file: "/media/puffin/system-boot/cmdline.txt",

At the end the the long line, add this to the line:
"splash quiet plymouth.ignore-serial-consoles"

then save it.

Also on the pi, to change the theme in terminal:
"sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth"
